We are looking for some Database Developer responsible for the development, maintenance, and deployment of database applications. Your primary focus will be data migration across different databases, developing high-end data flows and processes from business requirements, suitable data (DW/OLAP) model following standard architecture patterns and best practices. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
Skill Requirements
Ø At least 3 Years of experience in Database.
Ø Hands-on professional experience on large scale database migration
Ø In-depth knowledge and experience on DW/DM schema, dimensional modeling, database setup, administration
Ø Sound knowledge on centralized and distributed database, RDMS, OLTP, OLAP etc.
Ø Hands-on experience on large scale Database/Data warehouse design and system integration in MSSQL/Oracle/MySQL or any other platform.
Ø Hands on experience on ETL tools like MS SSIS/SAP data service/Talend/IBM tools/Oracle Data Integrator etc.
Ø Knowledge of Data Aggregation, Data Granularity, Data Archiving, Data purging.
Ø Experience on legacy Database system (like IBM DB2/AS400) will be bonus.
Ø Excellent written and verbal communications skills is a must.
Job Responsibility
Ø Understanding existing legacy database, data flow and system architecture.
Ø Creating detailed planning of data migration.
Ø Design and implement data migration and transformation logics, scripts, data flows, data mapping job, pipeline etc.
Ø Work on Data Flow, Source/Destination Data Models, data-application interaction.
Ø Perform Database optimization task like indexing, partitioning etc.
Ø Database security, multi-layer users access implementation.
Educational Requirements
B.Sc./M.Sc in Computer Science or Software Engineering from any reputed university/Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Relevant certification and training are appreciated.
