Senior Android Developer

We are looking for some Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with restful API and other cloud services. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
Skill Requirements
Ø Must have Strong Knowledge on Kotlin.
Ø Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, ProGuard, R8.
Ø Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, guidelines and best practices of android (architecture components, jetpack, androidX).
Ø A good understanding of OOP and able to write code in both Java and Kotlin.
Ø Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Ø Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Ø Able to write testable code and unit test.
Ø Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch".
Ø Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes, accelerometers, heart rate sensor.
Ø Knowledge of the open-source ecosystem and the libraries available for common task.
Ø Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Ø Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
Ø Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Ø Familiarity with continuous integration, RXJava, RXKotlin, Dagger/HILT is must.
Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements
B. Sc./ M. Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering from any reputed university/Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
